What we'll do
A Beach Holiday themed pool party, offering children a fun, structured aquatic experience that builds confidence, friendships and key personal and social skills. Each session aligns with the five core strategies—Belong, Explore, Dream, Grow and Connect—to support wellbeing and positive development. This independent experience will either take your child back to a fun memory from the past or offer a brand-new experience of being away right from their doorstep. There really is something for everyone.

What to do on the day?
On arrival, head straight to the reception area to sign in. We would recommend arriving around 10-15 minutes prior to the start to ensure maximum time in the pool. Remember to bring your swimwear and a towel to dry off with afterwards.
Learning aims
Aim 1
Dream – We will have a ‘Dream Board’ at the side of the pool where children will be encouraged to ‘Imagine What You Can Do!’ before entering the water. This is where children can set out a dream they may want to work towards while at the pool party such as learning a new skill, making new friends or simply trying something new which helps build confidence, self-belief, and aspiration.
Aim 3
Explore – Within the pool party, we want to encourage curiosity and confidence through new experiences. Here is where we will add different activities to the pool party so children are able to try new things. This can be using beach balls for children to create games, Snorkel area with buoyancy toys and frisbee and hoop challenges.
Aim 5
Belong - We want to make sure everyone feels welcomed, valued and included in the session. This is where we will add additional staff to the session to check in with children throughout the party and introduce the quieter children to others to form new friendships. Having a relax area and using techniques to get children talking to each other such as asking open questions around Favourite Sports etc.
Aim 2
Connect – As mentioned prior, we will offer a relax area where children can build friendships, communication skills, and create positive social connections. Ours sites are filled with seating areas where children are able to reflect on their experience throughout the pool party with their friends, old and new. We will also encourage teamwork and support throughout each activity within the pool, helping children cheer, support teammates, and celebrate with each other.
Aim 4
Grow – With different activities to do throughout the session, there is lots of chance to grow. After the pool party, each child will be given a ‘Look how I grew’ card where they can write up to 3 ways they have grown throughout the party. This can be personal to the children, however big or small it may seem giving them time to reflect on the activities at the pool party.
