A summary
This session is funded as part of Milton Keynes City Council Holiday Activities and Food Programme to deliver sessions for school aged children in receipt of benefit-related Free School Meals (FSM), during the Summer school holidays in 2025. EMDC is built around community, providing a safe, supportive environment for children of all ages to express themselves through DANCE, ACRO, & PERFORMING ARTS. EMDC caters for all ages and all dance levels. Whether your child is looking to improve their dance skills for fun or wants to take it more seriously, EMDC is the place to be. ✅Children will start each day with a physical warm-up, including games such as relays/obstacle courses/team competitions! ✅They will then take classes in various dance styles, including jazz, street, contemporary, and ballet. ✅They will also have classes in Musical Theatre where they will learn songs, scenes, and dances from their favourite musicals and movies! ✅Each day will contain an acrobatics gymnastics session, where they will learn skills such as cartwheels, handstands, walkovers and lots more. ✅We will also offer fun arts and crafts sessions, where they can design props for the show they are working on in Musical Theatre. Our highly skilled and dedicated team are all experienced professionals. We understand how important it is for your child to feel safe & motivated, while delivering training that is progressive and fun. If you are no longer able to attend, please cancel the place on EEQU booking system in advance of the session, allowing another child the opportunity to attend & benefit from holiday activity, as places and funding for these places are limited. We appreciate your help in ensuring that the limited HAF funding is spent efficiently and cancelled funded HAF places can be opened to other families of eligible children who are trying to access these holiday experiences.
