What we'll do
Over the summer holidays we are offering a wide range of fun, free family activities and days out. Children can enjoy adventures to the local beach and park, get their hands dirty in our gardening club, get creative with food in our Leftover Lab, and make exciting creations in arts and crafts. We also have an animal encounter day, a bouncy castle funday, and a trip to New Brighton to play footgolf. Each day includes a hot meal, snacks and drinks, ensuring families are supported throughout the holidays.

About your mentor
D Hub 67 C.I.C.
Rooted in Community, Powered by Kindness
D Hub 67 is a welcoming community space where families, children, and individuals from all walks of life come together to connect, create, and feel supported. We run inclusive, hands-on activities like cooking, crafts, and wellbeing sessions that help build confidence, friendships, and a sense of belonging. Many of the people we support face challenges like poverty, isolation, or being new to the UK, and we’re here to offer a warm meal, a listening ear, and a place to grow. Everything we do is about bringing people together and helping our community thrive.
FAQs
Q: Who can attend these sessions? A: Our activities are open to children eligible for HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) funding, as well as local families who may benefit from free meals, creative play, and community connection. Q: Do I need to book in advance? A: Yes, booking is essential so we can plan food, materials, and staffing. Please use the eequ booking system to reserve your child’s place. Q: Is there a cost to attend? A: No, all sessions are completely free thanks to HAF funding. This includes meals, activities, and any take-home items. Q: Do parents or carers stay? A: Yes! All of our offerings are family-based, meaning children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Q: What kind of food is provided? A: We offer an option of hot and cold meals, with vegetarian and halal options available. Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements when booking. Q: What should my child bring? A: Just themselves! We provide all materials, food, and equipment. Comfortable clothes are best (particularly ones you don't mind getting messy!).
