What we'll do
As part of our February HAF programme, we are excited to offer a variety of engaging activities aimed at promoting bullying awareness and fostering a supportive community among children aged 8 to 15. Our programme includes: Cycling Workshops: Participants will engage in group cycling sessions that emphasize teamwork, communication, and mutual respect, reinforcing the importance of inclusivity and support among peers. Brief Advice Workshops: As part of our February HAF programme, we will be delivering an interactive and informative workshop focused on bullying and discrimination awareness. This session will help children understand different forms of bullying, its impact, and ways to prevent it. Through engaging activities, role-playing scenarios, and open discussions, participants will develop essential skills such as assertiveness, empathy, and bystander intervention. Our goal is to empower young people with the confidence and knowledge to create a more inclusive and respectful community, ensuring that every child feels safe, valued, and supported in their environment.

REMOVING BARRIERS TO GETTING ON YOUR BIKE
Cycle of Life (COL) is a solutions driven non-profit social enterprise that uses cycling focused activities to meet community challenges head on and improve lives. It was established in February 2021 and is based in the heart of the Liverpool L8 community in Kuumba Imani Millennium Centre. We have, since our inception, been committed to understanding and responding to the needs of the communities we serve. We do this through a process of consultation, inclusive decision-making, piloting our activity and seeking feedback from participants, supporters, critical friends and the wider community. We have consistently reached out to people from diverse backgrounds. including for example; young unaccompanied asylum seekers, Looked After Children, BAME women and NHS patients and Key workers.
