A summary
⭐ Week 1 – Shine Bright! Our first week is all about helping children grow inside and out. Campers will: * Make new friends and take part in team-building games * Learn about resilience, confidence, healthy eating, and personal hygiene * Showcase their talents and creativity * Make their own lunches and learn basic food preparation skills * Enjoy arts and crafts, creative projects, and outdoor games ⚽ Take part in sports, challenges, and fun fitness activities * Experience an exciting coach trip to Woburn Safari Park ⭐ Week 2 – Discover & Achieve! Our second week will be packed with exciting experiences and inspiring opportunities. * Workshops focused on staying safe, wellbeing, and mental health * Visits from local firefighters * Visits from the police service * Rising Stars Olympics Day with medals, teamwork, and friendly competition * Hot lunches provided ⚽ Daily sports and physical activities (Football, Basketball, Soft Ball) * Arts, crafts, and creative workshops * Games, challenges, and free play opportunities * Another exciting off-site coach trip (destination to be confirmed) ⭐ Week 3 – Celebrate & Explore! Our final week will be filled with laughter, learning, and memories children will never forget. * Explore a love of languages and communication across different cultures ☀️ Enjoy outdoor activities and summer fun (fingers crossed for sunshine!) * Learn the importance of staying hydrated and healthy ⚽ Take part in sports days and team competitions * Continue creating amazing arts and crafts projects * Celebrate achievements with a special end-of-camp celebration Every Rising Star Will Aim to Reach the Top of Their ARCH A – Active R – Resilient C – Confident H – Healthy Each week will focus on helping children develop these important qualities through fun, engaging, and memorable activities. Venue: William Austin Junior School, Austin Road, Luton, LU3 1UA Time-Table: 10.00 AM - 2.00 PM Week:1 Monday 20 July 2026 to Friday 24 July 2026 Week:2 Monday 27 July 2026 to Friday 31 July 2026 Week:3 Monday 3 August 2026 to Friday 7 August 2026 * Please send your child in comfortable shoes and suitable clothing for active play and use sun cream if necessary. * Every child should bring a named water bottle. * Parents/carers will be asked to sign a consent form each Monday for off-site trips. * If your child has additional needs, please enquire about our specialist Disability - Camp at CYCD, designed to provide additional support. ✨ We cannot wait to welcome all our Rising Stars this summer! * Together, we'll create friendships, build confidence, learn new skills, and make memories to last a lifetime.
