What we'll do
We will meet at Malvern Cube at 9.20am, ready to travel to Feli's in a Worcester Wheels minibus for a 10am arrival. First stop, a light breakfast before meeting our host and chef extraordinaire, Chef Felice. In true 'Ready Steady Cook' style, Chef Felice will demonstrate how to make the day's food before we separate into small groups. In these groups we'll work together to replicate the meal (no recipes are provided and so we must pay attention!) before Chef Felice and a special guest will judge our efforts! Who will be the winning team this visit? Previously we have made Italian dishes including meatballs and sauce, homemade pasta, breads, soups and sweets. It is a real kitchen environment with the typical equipment you would expect in one and so sensible behaviour is a must. We will all then enjoy a delicious lunch cooked for us by Chef Felice and have a bit of downtime in the garden or neighbouring outdoor space before returning to Malvern Cube for 15.30.

About your mentor
Cube Youth
Providing fun, positive activities since 2016
Cube Youth provides activities for young people who are of the age to be in school Years 6-13. We offer sessions which are fun and also provide something extra. Whether it’s learning something different, getting active, boosting confidence and wellbeing, meeting new friends, enjoying our arts and games activities, or just relaxing, we have something for everyone. We offer a term time evening programme of open access provision and small group sessions. We also provide a range of activities and trips in the school holidays. Come along and meet our friendly Youth Work Team and see for yourself what we are all about!
Things to remember...
This trip will start at and return to Malvern Cube and will be supervised by experienced and qualified Youth Workers. Cube Youth cannot take responsibility for any belongings that do not make it home, so please do take care when we leave the venue and the transport that you have all of your items with you. Please wear clothing and shoes suitable for the activity, we may get messy as making pasta is often part of the session. We do stand up for a large chunk of the day so comfortable, closed toed shoes are a must. A refillable, named drinks bottle is to be brought with the child please.
What we require
Our charity strives to be inclusive, but attendance is reliant on young people being able to adhere to our Code of Conduct. Young people must also be able to attend independently. Young people must follow the rules of our Code of Conduct, a copy of this is available on our website www.malverncube.com/youth and when signing in to a session. Any persistent misbehaving will result in a temporary suspension or permanent exclusion as we strive to ensure that everyone feels safe at each session. If young people have any concerns during a session then we urge them to raise this there and then with a Youth Worker so we can resolve this. Any behaviour that impacts negatively on the safety of the young person or to anyone else, will result in removal from the activity and a phone call made home for the young person to be collected and a permanent ban from future sessions.

Cancellation Policy
Please cancel your space if you cannot attend so that we can offer it to somebody else. Refunds may not be given if cancellations are made less than a week before the activity. We do reserve the right to implement suspensions and/or a permanent ban if young people do not adhere to our Code of Conduct whilst at sessions.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
