A summary
Dates: Monday 30th December 2024 from 10am to 2pm Friday 3rd January 2025 from 10am to 2pm Have you ever wondered how people become artists/performers or designers? Do you love being creative at home or at school and would like to know how your passion could become your future job? Come along to our studio, 'Harriett's Press', do a creativity activity, have some lunch and collect a goody bag hamper to take home. The creative activities include candle-making with aromatherapy oils and sticker-making. We will also have the selfie printer out to print your favourite photos to take away with your hamper. We will be here 10am-2pm, so drop in any time. A food buffet from the market will be on offer at midday. For 13 -16 year olds on their own or with any family members you'd like to bring. Book in to let us know you are coming. A few T&Cs from Brighton & Hove City Council: • Eligibility criteria – Brighton & Hove HAF funded places are for children and young people in reception to year 11 who receive benefits-related free school meals. • Limits on bookings – Over the Winter, Eequ will permit each eligible participant to be booked on to 4 HAF places across all providers in the city. If a session is not attended, HAF places cannot be added back on to an individual’s allocation, regardless of reason. It is therefore important that sessions are cancelled before the activity starts, and ideally giving a minimum of a few days’ notice where possible to allow other children to benefit. Bookings can be managed by the Booker by logging into Eequ and reviewing their Schedule.
About your mentor
Quiet Down There
Supporting people to develop their creativity
Quiet Down There is a charity that offers people routes to expressing and developing their own creativity – outside of the traditional structures of the arts. We love working creatively in unexpected places and in new ways. We believe in the power of creativity for well-being. We are ambitious for the communities that we collaborate with and work alongside artists to hone and develop their socially engaged practice.

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
