A summary
Participants will have the chance to learn new creative skills and techniques, try new types of media and improve their creative abilities, flexing their imagination. Whatever your art ability or experience there should be something for you. The three weeks will each have a different theme which relates to the environment at Coombe Abbey. Creatures and minibeasts – will be involved in looking at and being inspired by the smallest inhabitants that live at Coombe Abbey. The landscape – will look at plants, animals and the water as a starting point to create objects. The imagined world – will consider how myths and our imagination can interact with the natural works as part of the creative process. Within each theme there will be the opportunity to create work which you can take away with you as well as working on larger collaborative projects.
