What we'll do
Children will enjoy a fun and inclusive Summer Connect Festival session designed to promote confidence, creativity and social connection. Each session will feature a range of festival-themed activities such as tie-dye, arts and crafts, music, games, sensory experiences and opportunities to explore new interests in a relaxed and supportive environment. Children will also share a nutritious hot meal together, encouraging positive conversations and social interaction. The sessions are designed to be fully SEND-friendly, with a clear structure, flexible participation, small-group activities and experienced staff on hand to provide support. We aim to create a welcoming festival atmosphere where every child feels safe, valued and able to take part in a way that suits their individual needs, while building friendships, trying new experiences and creating positive summer memories.

supporting people with additional needs
We are a local charity providing high quality respite and bespoke support services for adults and children with additional needs on the Isle of Wight. We offer a variety of services including 1:1 support and group sessions. Everything we do is tailor made to the individual requirements of each of our service users.
Plan for the day
Children will be welcomed into a relaxed and inclusive festival-themed environment where they can socialise with peers and take part in a variety of creative, sensory and active activities. Throughout the session, children will have opportunities to explore different festival experiences such as arts and crafts, tie-dye, music, games, themed workshops and activities, with options adapted to meet individual needs and interests. A nutritious hot meal will be provided and enjoyed together, encouraging positive social interaction and healthy eating habits. The session will be structured to provide routine and reassurance while allowing flexibility for children to engage at their own pace. Experienced staff and volunteers will provide support throughout, ensuring every child feels safe, valued and able to participate in a way that suits them, while building confidence, friendships and positive summer memories.
