What we'll do
Get in the Game This Christmas with Cobras! Join us for 2 days of basketball excitement at Cobras Basketball Club! Our Christmas Basketball Camp is the perfect opportunity for primary and secondary school players to develop their skills, have fun, and make new friends. With expert coaching, high-energy games, and the possibility of special guest coaches, you’ll level up your game while enjoying an unforgettable Christmas of basketball! *** DATES TO BE CONFIRMED *** Our camp will be held at Kings Academy, Binfield Sports Hall, RG42 4EX. There is plenty of parking. What to Bring: A packed lunch and snacks (don’t forget your water bottle to stay hydrated!) Comfortable clothing and sports shoes – no special equipment needed. If you have your own basketball, feel free to bring it along! HAF Attendees: If you're attending through the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, your child will receive a free lunch with their booking! Players are welcome to wear their best Christmas jumper or festive top for a chance to win a prize! Players can also wear holiday-themed accessories like Santa hats or reindeer headbands for some extra festive flair. Please leave full costumes and face paint at home — players need all hands free for slam dunks and fast breaks. Our coaches will be getting into the spirit too, with Santa hats, elf headbands, and fun festive boppers — because even the staff like to get a little merry! Important Notice: We are a 100% nut-free zone, so please avoid bringing any items containing nuts or sesame, such as nut-based spreads (like Nutella), granola bars, nutty snacks, and more. Your cooperation helps us keep the camp safe for all kids, especially those with allergies. Cobras are now Ofsted Registered! You can now use Childcare Vouchers for our camps! If your voucher provider isn’t listed, please reach out to us at info@cobrasbasketballclub.com for more details. Our team of qualified, DBS-checked coaches will guide your child through fun, summer-themed activities, ensuring skill development and enjoyment all week long. We also have a pastoral staff member on-site to offer support and encouragement. Many of our campers go on to become Cobras members, and we’d love for your child to join the team! Cobras Basketball Club was established in 2010 to provide an opportunity for young people from age 5 - 18 to enjoy basketball from regional to national competition level. ​ ​Since then the club has seen great success under the guidance of the coaches and has grown to have in excess of 450 members and we have recently added three adult teams which play in the local Wessex league.
