What we'll do
1:00pm – 2:30pm – Clay Connections A relaxed clay workshop for children, young people and their parent/carer. Explore hand-building techniques, create unique pieces and enjoy the calming, therapeutic benefits of working with clay in a warm and welcoming environment. Working with clay offers a wonderful opportunity to slow down, connect and create together. Using a variety of techniques, participants will be encouraged to experiment, explore their own ideas and develop projects at their own pace. There is no right or wrong way to create, making this session suitable for complete beginners as well as those with previous experience. Sessions may include pinch pots, sculptures, nature-inspired creations, decorative pieces and collaborative projects, with plenty of opportunities for conversation, creativity and self-expression along the way. Monday 15th June - Clay Dwellings Monday 22nd June - Magic faraway tree Monday 29th June - Pinch Pots Monday 6th July - Imaginary Creatures Our approach is gentle and child-led, focusing on the process of creating rather than the finished product. We aim to provide a calm, welcoming space where families can enjoy spending time together, build confidence and experience the wellbeing benefits of working with natural materials. £18 for a child or young person and their parent/carer. Please note that this is a family session and parents/carers are required to remain with their child throughout. Parents/carers retain responsibility for their child's safety and wellbeing at all times during the session.

The Nurture School
Where children lead the way
The Nurture School is a small, nurturing learning community based in a calm, Hygge inspired environment where connection comes first and every child is valued as a unique individual. We offer drop-off sessions for children who benefit from a gentle, personalised approach to learning, combining creativity, curiosity and emotional wellbeing with opportunities to develop confidence, friendships and independence. Alongside our core sessions, we also run family groups and workshops, including STEAM by the Sea, Creativity by the Sea and Clay Connections, providing opportunities for children, young people and their families to explore, create and connect together. Our approach is child led, relationship based and neurodiversity-affirming, creating a space where children can learn, belong and flourish at their own pace.
