A summary
We plan to deliver a 4-hour session with a variety of different elements such as; - Introductory on how exercise is good for the body and for mental health. - We will deliver a boxing-based exercise circuits in a variety of ways such as; aerobic exercise to keep the class engaged. - Within in the session we will also have a technical element such as learning the fundamentals of boxing (basic combinations, basic footwork, and basic defence work) this will progress as the training programme progresses. In addition to this we will take each individual member into account with their medical needs and their own goals such as learning to box, getting fit etc… after the main training element, we will deliver an educational element which will cover the following areas: - Basic food groups - Basic nutritional groups (carbs, proteins, fibres etc...) This will follow onto them making their own balanced diet with the knowledge that they will receive. All participants will then go onto lunch time which will consist of hot nutritious balanced meal including fresh fruit, water, and fruit juice (alternatives will be available). the final element, will include fun and activities including pool table & table football there will also be television playing in the background for the individuals that want to relax after the core elements of the session. Finally, after the session is over, they will be handed over to their parents/ guardians or alternatively if they have written consent on their registration form they will be released.
