What we'll do
For the 4 football days, children will be active, engage in fun warm-up activities, develop their football skills, play mini-matches and large sided football games. They will learn about nutrition & healthy lifestyles in a lunchtime activity each day. We will also help develop the children's social and emotional skills, teamwork and communication. Our camp values are Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship. Please be aware HAF funded places are for children on benefits-related Free School Meals. Paid places are available for £20 per day via a separate booking form; if you require this link for non FSM places, email communitycapacitybuilders19@gmail.com.

About your mentor
Community Capacity Builders CIO
Empowering Lives, Enriching Futures
Community Capacity Builders is a non-profit organisation formed in 2019 to assist in the support of disadvantaged and vulnerable children, young people and adults living in the Liverpool City Region. This includes those suffering from mental and/or physical illness, through our provision of a range of mental health therapy, physical activities and financial education activities to empower personal growth and improve life-chances through the delivery of our structured programmes. We have regularly delivered HAF Football Activity Camps since Winter 2021 as well as our own holiday football camps. Our coaches are all FA qualified, have enhanced DBS checks and are experienced in coaching children with additional needs. Our lead coach is Tony Prescott who has decades of football coaching experience at Poulton Victoria FC and SupaStar Soccer Schools.
Lunch Menu & Snacks
The children will have a mid-morning break and we will provide some bottled water and fresh fruit. At lunchtime we will have packed lunches delivered in by Hurst's Bakery that comprise of a filled wholemeal batch with a range of fillings, a piece of fruit and bottle of still water. We will also have some simple hot food options on at least two of the days. If children have sensory issues with food, then they can opt to bring their own packed lunch (please let us know this via email). All children are encouraged to bring their own labelled bottle of water each day.

To develop fitness, mobility and football skills through various fun activities, mini-matches and small sided games.

To learn about the importance of nutrition and healthier lifestyles.
Each Day's Activity
The camp is spread out of four consecutive days: Mon 14th April - Football @ Clare Mount School, Leasowe Tues 15th April - Football @ Clare Mount School, Leasowe Wed 16th April - Football @ Clare Mount School, Leasowe Thurs 17th April - Football @ Clare Mount School, Leasowe Timings will all be 10:00 - 14:00 (Please note it is not the responsibility of the camp for transporting children to and from the venue and football will be INDOOR)

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.For paid places if a pre-payment has been made, 24 hours notice must be given to receive a full refund.

My experience is an educational activity and the 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 therefore applies. After the 14 day period my standard policy will apply.
