A summary
Our HAF Outreach programme provides a safe space for children and young people to take part in enriching activities within their own communities. The aim is to have fun, build new friendships, develop life skills, and participate in a wide range of sports, music, and creative activities. All staff are experienced youth workers, sports coaches, mentors, and positive role models who are committed to supporting young people to feel safe, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential. We have a strong community focus, working to create positive opportunities for young people close to home and encouraging them to feel a sense of belonging within their local area. Through our activities, we aim to build confidence, improve wellbeing, and support young people to develop positive relationships and aspirations for the future.

Since 1935, Coventry Boys and Girls Club has been dedicated to empowering children and young people. Whether through tailored one-to-one mentoring sessions or engaging open-access sessions, our experienced youth mentors, youth workers and sports coaches are committed to supporting the growth and development of every child and young person. We provide a safe and inclusive environment, offering open-access sessions five days a week.
What we do...
We deliver a wide range of engaging and inclusive activities designed to support the development, wellbeing, and enjoyment of children and young people. Our programme includes boxing, multi-sports, basketball, football, music, and art, giving young people the opportunity to stay active, express themselves creatively, and try new experiences in a supportive environment. Alongside our core activities, we aim to open doors to further opportunities by encouraging progression and signposting young people to other local sessions, programmes, and support services where appropriate. Our ethos is centred around wellbeing, ensuring that every child and young person feels safe, valued, and supported. We create an environment where young people know they can talk to trusted staff and seek support if they need it, helping to build confidence, resilience, and positive relationships.
