What we'll do
Our holiday club offers a structured but flexible daily routine to ensure children have a balance of active play, creative activities, social time, and relaxation throughout the day. Example Daily Schedule 8:00am – 9:00am: free play 9:00am – 10:30am: Sports, team games, and Indoor or outdoor activities 10:30am – 11:00am: Healthy snack and social time 11:00am – 12:30pm: Creative activities, crafts, cooking, or themed sessions 12:30pm – 1:15pm: Healthy hot lunch 1:15pm – 2:30pm: Indoor and outdoor free play, wellbeing activities, or quiet time 2:30pm – 3:30pm: Group games, challenges, or special activities 3:30pm – 4:30pm: Snack, free play, and collection time

Castle Early Birds Holiday Club is a community-focused childcare provider based at Portchester Community School in Fareham. For over 10 years, we have provided high-quality holiday club and childcare services, creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and develop. Our programme offers a wide variety of activities including sports, creative arts, cooking, indoor and outdoor play, and team-building sessions, alongside healthy and nutritious meals. We are passionate about supporting all children, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds and children with SEN. Our goal is to be a welcoming and supportive hub within the community, helping children build confidence, friendships, independence, and positive experiences while providing valuable support to local families.
Summary:
Castle Early Birds Holiday Club provides a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where children can enjoy fun, enriching experiences during the school holidays. Based at Portchester Community School in Fareham, we offer a wide range of engaging activities including sports, arts and crafts, cooking, team games, indoor and outdoor play, and wellbeing activities designed to support children’s confidence, creativity, and social development. Alongside our exciting activity programme, we provide healthy meals and snacks to help children stay energised throughout the day. Our aim is to give children the opportunity to make friends, learn new skills, stay active, and have fun in a safe community setting.

Food Provision, Inclusion and Support, What Children should bring
Food Provision We provide healthy meals and snacks each day, with menus designed to support children’s wellbeing and healthy eating habits. Fresh fruit, vegetables, and drinking water are available daily, and we cater for dietary requirements, allergies, and cultural preferences wherever possible. Inclusion and Support Castle Early Birds is committed to providing an inclusive environment for all children, including children with SEN and those requiring additional support. We work closely with families to ensure children feel safe, supported, and able to fully participate in activities. What Children Should Bring Children should attend in comfortable clothing suitable for indoor and outdoor play and bring: A refillable water bottle Coat and suitable footwear Sun cream and hat during warmer weather Any required medication clearly labelled We look forward to welcoming children for a fun, active, and enjoyable holiday experience.
