A summary

Carrow Park BNHF offers a welcoming environment where young people aged 5–16 can learn, play and grow together. The programme is designed to give every participant a rich blend of experiences that support their physical health, emotional wellbeing and understanding of the world around them. Physical activity is a major part of each session, with a variety of games, sports and movement‑based challenges that encourage confidence, teamwork and resilience. Activities are designed to be accessible and enjoyable for all ability levels, helping children discover new interests while staying active in a fun, social setting. The emphasis on movement also supports healthy routines and gives participants a positive outlet for their energy. Alongside the physical elements, the programme includes engaging nutritional workshops that help children build practical knowledge about food, health and wellbeing. These sessions are hands‑on and interactive, giving young people the chance to explore ingredients, learn about balanced meals and understand how food choices affect their bodies. The aim is to empower them with skills they can use at home and carry into adulthood. Sustainability is woven throughout the programme, encouraging children to think about their environment and the impact of their choices. Through creative activities and discussions, they learn about topics such as reducing waste, caring for nature and making environmentally friendly decisions. These sessions help build awareness and responsibility in a way that feels accessible and inspiring. A key feature of Carrow Park BNHF is the provision of a free hot meal and healthy snacks at every session. Overall, Carrow Park BNHF brings together physical activity, nutrition, sustainability and social connection to create a meaningful, enjoyable experience for young people. It supports healthy habits, builds confidence and fosters a sense of belonging, making it a valuable resource for families and the wider community.
