What we'll do

Summer Mix Fun Days – Ages 7–19 Celebrate Summer and Community Through Fun! Every Wednesday: 30th July, 6th & 13th August | 1–5pm Our Summer Mix Fun Days are all about bringing young people together—from the youngest to the oldest! Whether you’re 7 or 19, this is your space to explore, express, and enjoy a great day with others from across the community. These days are funded through the MKCC Holiday Activities and Food Programme to deliver sessions for children and young people in receipt of Free School Meals (FSM). Join us for inclusive afternoons packed with energetic sports like football, tennis, basketball and even Just Dance, plus a creative mix of Summer-themed crafts. These special sessions are all about connecting through fun, friendship, and celebrating everything that makes youth work brilliant. Free food, snacks, and drinks will be available throughout the day—so you’ll be fuelled up for all the fun. Come be part of something bigger—let's make Summer unforgettable! Youth Network

Building resilience in young people

Youth Network, a project of Bletchley Youth Centre, is dedicated to empowering young people to build a better future for themselves and their community. We offer leisure time youth clubs, activities and trips which build self-confidence, resilience and motivate young people to try out new things. All staff hold Enhanced DBS checks, are trained First Aiders, and receive regular Safeguarding training. Where appropriate, staff are certified in food hygiene.

I have been dedicated to supporting young people in Milton Keynes since 2008. My journey began with MK Youth Service, and in 2013, I joined Youth Network, which is now a project under Bletchley Youth Centre. My passion for youth work is rooted in a deep empathy for young people. I find immense joy in witnessing their growth and development as they navigate their journey to adulthood. Currently, I contribute across all Youth Network provisions in Milton Keynes, striving to make a positive and lasting impact on their lives.

As the Senior Youth Work Manager of the Youth Network project, I oversee all of the clubs and projects that support the development, well-being, and empowerment of young people. With a focus on creating inclusive opportunities, I lead a team committed to fostering growth, resilience, and meaningful connections within the community. My work is driven by a passion for making a lasting impact in the lives of local youth.

I am deeply passionate about empowering young people to seize every opportunity available to them. As a football coach, an FA Inclusions Officer, I bring the values of teamwork, discipline, and motivation into my work at youth clubs, fostering personal growth and confidence in the next generation. I work across many of the Youth Network provisions in Milton Keynes.
