What we'll do
Burwell House's modernised 18th Century house and three acres of landscaped gardens provides a unique environment for our holiday clubs. Throughout the summer we will be running a whole host of exciting activities —build shelters and light fires in bushcraft, follow orienteering trails, and craft with clay. Cook cakes and other snacks using simple recipes, join epic hide-and-seek in our huge garden. On selected days we will be running some extra special sessions: Tuesday 21st July - 'Learn to ride' and Level 1 Bikeability course Wednesday 22nd July - Thursday 23rd June - Level 2 Bikeability course Wednesday 29th July - Drama Workshop with Cambridge Touring Productions Monday 24th August - Wednesday 26th August - Adventurous Activity Week with visiting staff from Grafham Water Centre

Burwell House
Welcome Home
Welcome to Burwell House! Burwell House has been a fantastic venue for a wide variety of residential and non-residential courses and events for over sixty years. Providing a venue for an array of catered and self-catered, taught and self-led, residential and day courses and visits, for children, young people and adults, Burwell House offers a flexible service to fulfil the requirements of a very wide range of groups. We are most regularly used as a fantastic location for school visits / school trips but the Centre provides a very flexible venue for a very wide range of other users. Built in the late 1700s, Cambridgeshire County Council bought Burwell house in 1964 and opened as a residential centre in 1965. The house retains the atmosphere of a large family home, whilst catering for the needs of today’s customers (with new central heating, wifi throughout the building, fire detection and sprinkler systems and a modern commercial kitchen.)
Parking to drop off and pick up
Please use the entrance on Silver Street to access the centre and our car park.
