Doing my best for Godalming's young people
Hello! I've been a Youth Worker since I 'got too old for the youth club' and refused to leave :) I now work as Head of Godalming Youth Service, which means I do all the boring (err, I mean important... ) paperwork behind the scenes. I started here in 2022 and set up the youth service. I really like when we do holiday activities because it means I can get out of the office. I love being involved in all things creative, gaming and coming up with silly team games! I also do a lot of minibus driving on trips out. Come up and say hello, and please let me know if you have any ideas for future youth projects.

Young People are the FUTURE.......
I have worked with children and young people for the past I don't know how long! I have a great deal of experience working with young people of all ages and enjoy every moment. I enjoy creative activities, playing fun interactive games, tending to the garden, and playing the odd game of pool. I really love the holiday activities which are great fun not only for the young people but all the staff - I especially enjoy the street art sessions and how much everyone enjoys it! I am so lucky to have a job that allows me to revisit my own childhood.

Eligibility Criteria
Godalming Youth Service is part of Godalming Town Council. Because of this, only residents of Godalming's neighbourhoods (eg: Farncombe, Aaron's Hill, Godalming Central, Ockford Ridge, Busbridge) will be allocated places. For young people wanting to access our activities for the first time, we will ask that they attend a Broadwater Youth Centre based day BEFORE accepting any bookings for a youth day out. Further details of Town Council's Parish boundaries are available here: https://godalming-tc.gov.uk/town-council-overview/ We also welcome young people from the following surrounding areas outside our Parish boundaries: Witley, Milford, Compton.
