A summary
We will provide a popular mix of fantastic fun-filled drama/ performing arts activities, including; acting, improvisation, drama games, devising theatre, storytelling, music, dancing, Tai Chi and drawing/crafts.
There will be two Theatre trips:
On Wednesday 22nd we will be going to Morden Hall Park to see 'The Jungle Book'. We will provide a picnic lunch. we will meet at 11am at the Centre and be back by 3.30pm.

On 30th July there will be a theatre trip to Polka Theatre to see 'Arthur' https://polkatheatre.com/event/arthur
We will meet at 11am at the Centre and be back in Brixton by 5pm.
Priority for children attending 5 or more sessions.
The the project aims to get children and young people to:
Eat more healthily and be more active over the school holidays
Develop resilience and well-being by engaging in enriching activities
Be safe and not be socially isolated, make new friends, and develop positive relationships.

The summer workshops will be led by Brixton Youth Theatre is led by joint Artistic Directors
Max Gold, David Baker and Ayesha.
Between them they have a wealth of experience as actors and directors in theatre, film and television. As well as performing with leading theatres such as the RSC and the National, they have created and run numerous projects for young people throughout London.
You will also get a healthy meal at lunch time and some tasty snacks.
Eligibility Criteria
Lambeth HAF-funded places are for children and young people in reception to year 11 who receive benefits-related free school meals and attend a school in Lambeth.
(Please note, this is different to universal free school meals that are available to all school-aged children)
Each child can book up to 16 sessions this summer with any provider.
