A summary
As part of our Summer Reading Challenge theme, "Read to the Beat," we'll be exploring the science of sound through a fun-filled experiments. All experiments can be taken away with you to use at home. Join us Spectac-u-lab for an interactive science session designed for children aged 4–16, where learning, experimentation, and imagination come together in a safe and engaging environment. Young scientists will investigate forces and motion by building balloon-powered cars, explore pitch with rubber band acoustics, and experiment with vibration using straw pipes and whistles! For safety and due to limited space, we politely request that children are accompanied by only one adult to prevent crowding in the activity space. Please do not bring siblings to the event unless they have a pre-booked place and meet the age requirements.
