About your mentor
The Black Prince Trust
Free sports and activity for Lambeth's youth
In 2014 The Black Prince Trust (BPT) took on overall management of the Black Prince Trust Community Hub, aiming to firmly place it in the heart of the community where we are based with accessible, inclusive and impactful programmes using sport and physical activity to deliver positive social outcomes. BPT manages and maintains the facility, with two commercial agreements helping to make the site financially sustainable: with Power League, who run the outdoor football facility; and Foundry who run a private members gym within the Sports Hall. Both agreements include some community provision: Power League provide heavily discounted rates for charities, schools and other BPT partners until 5pm on weekdays; while Foundry deliver a free daily 1 hour fitness class open to anyone in the community engaging 75 people per week in their gym space. The BPT Hub is also home to some of our charity partners: Fight 4 Change, Street Soccer London and 3 Pillars are all based on site and deliver free community programmes; while Share Community run a training kitchen for adults with disabilities and a community meal distribution scheme from our café and kitchen space. Nike and Jordan are hugely valued partners across BPT basketball programmes, with long-term investment in facilities and community delivery establishing BPT as one of the premier basketball facilities in the country. BPT and its partners currently deliver more than 70 weekly community sessions that are openly accessible to the community, the majority of which are completely free of charge to users, with heavily discounted facility hire rates available to partners, not-for-profit organisations and schools. When not reserved for community use, facilities are available for private hire at our standard rate – all revenues generated from private hire helps to support the costs of running the Hub and subsidises low cost facility hire rates for community partners.

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
