A summary
Dear Families, We are thrilled to invite your child to a special BCA Easter event just for them! As part of our ongoing support, we are offering students aged 12-16 years entitled to free school meals a fun-filled trip to Team Karting. Students will have the opportunity to race around the track, socialise, and make new friends. The session will include two 15‑minute racing experiences, and we will finish the event with pizzas. Please note that this will not be a staffed event beyond the initial signing-in at Team Karting. Each driver will take part in two 15‑minute track sessions, aiming to complete as many laps as possible and set their fastest lap time. This is an open session, which means there may be other family groups racing at the same time — great for comparing lap times! All drivers under 16 must be signed in by an accompanying adult (aged 18 or over) upon arrival. Clothing A race suit, helmet, and gloves will all be provided on the day.

School holidays can be difficult for some families. The cost of extra food, childcare, and activities to keep children active and entertained can be challenging. The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme is a scheme funded by the Department for Education. It gives children who are eligible for benefit related free school meals the opportunity to take part in fun, enriching activities and receive a healthy meal.
