A fun filled week that involves various activities from playing sports to arts and crafts sessions. We will also be going on trips and swimming at the London Aqautic Centre. All BADU staff are DBS checked and have full child protection and safeguarding training. We strongly advise that there are NO NUTS included in any snacks or lunches due to allergies. A refillable water bottle and a change of clothing is also required. Children are not permitted to attend in crocs or football boots for safety reasons. Full, closed shoes/ trainers should be worn at all times. We look forward to seeing you there!

BADU
Empowering Communities in Sport & Wellbeing
We are a deep social impact organisation that has developed and adapted over 18 years to become a company that has three strategic pillars within which all of our work is done: Sports and Physical Activity, Community and Placemaking, and Mentoring & Workforce Development; all of the components that allow us to meet the needs of our community—a community with the skills and knowledge to compete on the world stage, both locally and globally. We have been based in London for those 18 years, and being located on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park was a key tenet of our ability to continue delivering the legacy deserved by all after the 2012 Olympics. One of our key ways of working, “The BADU way,” allows us to continue our legacy of creating solutions to systemic problems experienced and highlighted by the community, long before they are understood on a wider scale. Based on the lived experiences of our very diverse team and community, we have been able to use our BADU circular economy to affect change and ensure deep impact and sustainability – that is actually needed, and needed now. We are used to working in a way that allows us to pivot according to the needs of our community and much of our success over the past 18 years has been based on the ability to adapt, change and grow according to a changing society and changing needs. We understood that our community does not need a static organisation that has one model and does one thing. They told us they needed an organisation that has a holistic approach and meets them where they need.

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
