A summary
We are proud to be delivering a free multi-activity Holiday Camp through Discovery Extended Services, providing high-quality, engaging holiday provision for children within our community. Our holiday camps are designed to ensure that children have access to enriching and enjoyable experiences during the school holidays, while also supporting families by offering a safe, reliable and inclusive environment. Discovery Extended Services has a strong track record of delivering successful holiday camps that combine fun, structure and meaningful learning opportunities. As outlined in our previous programme delivery, these camps provide a structured environment where children can engage in a wide variety of activities, learn new skills, build friendships and enjoy their time away from the classroom. Our goal is to create a holiday experience that is both enjoyable and beneficial, supporting children’s social, physical and emotional development. The holiday camp will offer a diverse and exciting programme of multi-activities, ensuring that there is something for every child to enjoy. Activities will include sports, team games, Food, arts and crafts, outdoor play, NERF, Nintendo Switch and enrichment sessions, giving children the opportunity to explore different interests and develop new talents. All sessions are carefully planned and adult-led to ensure they are engaging, inclusive and suitable for a range of ages and abilities. This variety helps to keep children motivated, active and enthusiastic throughout the day. In addition to providing fun experiences, the camp also supports the development of key life skills. Children will have the opportunity to build confidence, improve communication and teamwork skills, and develop independence in a supportive environment. Our activities are designed to encourage participation, creativity and resilience, helping children to grow both socially and emotionally. The programme also incorporates elements of health and wellbeing, encouraging children to stay active, make positive choices and develop an understanding of healthy lifestyles. The camp will be delivered by experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated staff who are committed to maintaining a high standard of care and supervision. We place a strong emphasis on safeguarding, inclusion and ensuring that every child feels welcome, valued and supported. Our staff work hard to create a positive atmosphere where children feel happy, safe and confident to take part in all activities. By offering this provision free of charge, Discovery Extended Services ensures that all children, regardless of background or circumstance, have the opportunity to attend and benefit from a high-quality holiday provision. This plays an important role in reducing barriers to access and supporting families within the local community. Overall, our free multi-activity Holiday Camp reflects Discovery Extended Services’ commitment to delivering inclusive, engaging and high-quality provision that enables children to have fun, learn new skills and create lasting memories during the school holidays.

We focus on making sure that the young people attend are having fun in a safe and secure environment, engaged in new and exciting activities including NERF, arts/crafts, Laser tag and the list goes on and on.
