A summary
Join a one-off antenatal session led by our friendly Start for Life practitioners, any time between 28 and 40 weeks of pregnancy to connect with other expectant parents, get ready for baby, and learn about the support available to you. You will then reconnect when baby is 6-8 weeks old for a special 3 week postnatal group. During this, we will explore the importance of play, communication through stories and rhymes, and enjoy sensory and messy play that supports your baby's development.

The hub has a team of friendly and experienced staff who work across the Macclesfield area to offer activities to children and their families. We provide a one stop shop for the community where you can access services such as * midwifery appointments, health checks, weaning and nutrition advice, early years play education and sensory development * intensive support to reduce family problems that result in family breakdown, working with the child and family to make positive changes * family help and support for children with disabilities or additional needs; * practical support around finance and housing * youth support services, including youth justice * mental health support for children, young people, families and new parents As you visit and engage with your local family hub, you will be asked to complete a membership form.
