VERTEX / SOAR is our Senior contemporary dance group aimed at channelling young energy into inspiring creativity, confidence and focus. Payment Schemes
Supported Engagements
We provide a reduced fee for children and young people who face barriers to engaging in the arts, because we believe everyone should have access to creative opportunities. Suppose you are part of the global majority, a single parent, experiencing a long-term illness in the family, or receiving Universal Credit. In these cases, you may be eligible for a 25% reduction on your term fee. Drop us a message stating your case, or email info@ascensiondance.co.uk for more details or to discuss how we can support you.
Tax Free Childcare
We’re delighted to announce that we are now officially approved as a childcare provider by Ofsted and can now accept payment through the Tax-Free Childcare scheme. If you’re eligible for this government support, we’d be happy to help you reduce your costs through this scheme. The steps to apply are straightforward— find out more at gov.uk/tax-free-childcare —but if you need any assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@ascensiondance.co.uk
Sibling Discount
We have introduced a new sibling discount to support larger families and encourage multiple participants to join our activities. The first child pays the full price, and all subsequent children/bookings receive a 25% discount. The discount is automatically applied and deducted at checkout.
What shall I wear?
All new participants will be eligible for a complimentary Ascension Dance T-shirt. This is to be worn to all Ascension Youth sessions.
In addition to this, please ensure that you wear comfortable attire so your young person can move in. Although we will aim to get everybody moving as soon as possible, the space can sometimes get chilly when listening to instruction, so we recommend bringing a hoodie or jumper
We do not recommend wearing your best clothes as we may be climbing, rolling and sliding across surfaces that may scuff clothing.
Footwear - Please make sure your young person is wearing trainers or active wear shoes with good cushioning and toe flexion. When teaching material to young people, we work barefoot but on occasion, we will use set and dance on objects that require supported footwear.
