A summary
Joining TWIRL will have your child twisting, sliding, and leaping in an exploration of dance and movement. TWIRL is our early years dance group that aims to encourage creativity, movement and imagination in young people. TWIRL will get your child inspired to play, explore movement and help channel young energy through focused learning and participation. Join us for 30 minutes of play, fun and movement for children and their parents. All in a fun, safe and supportive environment. Explore themes books, props, and set physically as we tap into our inner child in these playful weekly dance sessions.

Company Director
AJ is a warm character who enjoys seeing people find their purpose. He's the driving force behind the company and loves to see people participating in any movement-based sessions. He's a keen creative, whether it's developing new movements, project ideas or themes of choreography! He will be a huge fan of anybody who is authentically themselves and is brave with trying new things. Come and join a session to witness this support in person.
Ben Morley
Empowerning people through dance and movement
Ascension Dance Company, founded in 2017 by company directors Ashley Jordan and Ben Morley, produces high-quality contemporary dance work. Its focus is on fusing contemporary movement with movement from physical dance forms and movement styles such as parkour.

What shall I wear
Please ensure that you wear comfortable attire so your young person can move in. Although we will aim to get everybody moving as soon as possible, the space can sometimes get chilly when listening to instruction, so we recommend bringing a hoodie or jumper We do not recommend wearing your best clothes as we may be climbing, rolling and sliding across surfaces that may scuff clothing. Footwear - Please make sure your young person is wearing trainers or active wear shoes with good cushioning and toe flexion. When teaching material to young people, we work barefoot but on occasion, we will use set and dance on objects that require supported footwear.
