These 1-day Parkour workshops include games and learning movement from parkour that will have your child climbing, jumping vault and navigating Ascension bespoke parkour equipment. Get creative, challenge focus and feel supported in 1 day of fun high-energy movement. These are all about providing new exciting opportunities for young people to dive straight into. Is your child always climbing, jumping and vaulting furniture around the house? This workshop might be the perfect way to channel there energy into something physically and mentally stimulating!

Ben Morley
The shining light of Ascension!
Ben is the lead workshop leader within Ascension with over 10 years of experience teaching dance and movement workshops to children and young people of all ages. With a keen eye for creative ways to support learning, Ben is passionate about enabling young people to build confidence and discover their own potential. He's always got a new game or fun activity to inspire a room and make people laugh. Come and see for yourself!!

The cool kid on the block
Ish Khan is an experienced parkour athlete, coach and national touring performer. When not touring up and down the country or performing on national platforms such as the TNL New Years Eve bash, Ish is sharing his knowledge about Parkour and movement, looking to inspire the next generation of young movement artists. Club Description Jump, slide and soar around with Ascension Dance as we develop confidence and performance skills. What food is provided? A healthy, hot main meal and desert will be provided for each day of the workshop provided by Nor Aziz / Burning Plough LTD. What provision is there for Children with SEND? We strive to make our workshops inclusive and accessible for all young people with our artist understanding how to manage a range of ability levels. Adaptations to the session are able to facilitated during the workshop to support this. Please note, our activities will be very physical in nature as outlined in the description. What should children bring and what should they wear? Children should arrive in comfortable clothing that they are able to move in (i.e. leggings/joggers and a t-shirt) and trainers. Sensible footwear is a necessity when working on set equipment, so do make sure you bring or arrive in trainers for the full workshop. They should wear lots of layers so that they're able to keep warm and bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day. Contact details for Parents.
