What we'll do
Join us this holiday for our Summer Art Camp! This is a club for any child interested in art and is run by professional artists, so we will have plenty of tips and tricks to share that you might not have seen in school. Each day participants will learn a new art technique on the morning then put those skills to the test to create a mini masterpiece using their new skills in the afternoon. We will also have plenty of games and activities to keep children active both mentally and physically each day including dance parties and sports games through to animal yoga and musical statues. Some of the art lessons that we will do during the clubs include: - Try your hand at some mono prints - a bit of nature sketching in the outdoors with oil pastels. - Join in with a bit of charcoal life drawing and see who can strike the most ridiculous pose. - Practice portraits using inks. - Play with texture and make some unique outdoor scenes with watercolour painting. - Discover abstract painting and practice your Picasso. - Learn how to layer with a collage themed story telling session. - Make your own stained glass window or sun catcher. - Let’s Art Outside with some wild printing and scientific botanical sketches. - Practice your sculptures by making some clay tiles and decorating them. - Lets make our stories come to life with a puppeteering session and a group puppet theatre. Daily Agenda The following timetable gives a rough idea of what we will do each day: 10am - Arrival & breakfast club with sketching games and activities 10:30 - Art lesson (e.g. oil pastel lesson & mono printing activities) 11:30 - Activity games (e.g. Art sports day/ Pin the plush on the artist/ roll a monster) 12:00 - Lunch break 12:30 - Make your masterpiece (e.g. oil pastel: outdoor sketching activity to find as many textures as possible and sketch things in nature) 1:30 - Activity break (e.g. animal yoga) 2pm - Pick up by parents/guardians

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
