What we'll do
This session is funded as part of Milton Keynes City Council Holiday Activities and Food Programme to deliver sessions for school aged children in receipt of benefit-related Free School Meals (FSM), during the Spring school holidays in 2025. Our qualified & DBS-checked team of youth workers & sports coaches will provide a vibrant & varied winter holiday programme for your children for 4 days a week for 4 weeks! Our Fit and Fed programme will include activities such as: Dodgeball, Badminton, Tennis, Kids Fitness, Street Dance, Football, Basketball, Rounders, Athletics, Fun Team Challenges & Arts & Crafts - to name a few activities provided for them by our inspirational role models! Each day, your child will be provided with healthy snacks and a hot lunch. We look forward to giving your children the best Spring ever where we will help them to get up get out and get active! If you are no longer able to attend, please cancel the place on EEQU booking system in advance of the session, allowing another child the opportunity to attend & benefit from holiday activity, as places and funding for these places are limited. We appreciate your help in ensuring that the limited HAF funding is spent efficiently and cancelled funded HAF places can be opened to other families of eligible children who are trying to access these holiday experiences.

We help children, young people & families who live in underserved areas of Milton Keynes to GET UP, GET OUT & GET ACTIVE! We know that is is challenging to get active today due to numerous barriers - so we do all we can to remove those barriers for people so they can get active to improve their physical and mental wellbeing on their own doorstep.
APA Fit and Fed - why we're different!
We have been delivering the HAF programme since the pilot scheme back in 2018! We give the children & young people who attend our programme a voice and a choice, which means they will get the chance to try at least 3 or 4 different activities every day they're with us! We know that giving children young people a voice and choice really empowers them which means we are developing their self-confidence and personal development, as well as their sports & fitness skills & abilities!

Improve the physical and mental health & wellbeing of ALL children, regardless of their ability & circumstance.
Aim 2
Support, nurture & develop the whole child - build their skills, their confidence & their sense of belonging - we are coaching the whole child - not just their sports ability.
Aim 3
Support the children & young people to become the leaders of today & tomorrow. Help them build their identities individually & collectively as part of a group or community.
