A summary
Our Explorers Club is based in 'the Woodlands' Birkenhead and is all about giving children the freedom to explore, create, play and grow in a safe, supportive and exciting environment.
Our summer programme combines outdoor adventure, creativity, active play and wellbeing, helping children build confidence, make new friends and enjoy a holiday packed with fun and discovery. Every day offers something different, from arts and crafts and creative projects to cookery sessions, team games and outdoor adventures.
Children will have the opportunity to explore local parks and green spaces, take part in geocaching challenges and discover the natural world through hands-on activities and exploration. Along the way they'll develop new skills, solve problems, work together and build confidence in their own abilities.
We will encourage healthy lifestyles through fun food activities and simple cookery sessions, while social experiences such as picnics, BBQs, outdoor games and group challenges help children connect with others, develop friendships and create lasting memories.
At the heart of Woodlands Explorers Club is a love of old-fashioned childhood fun – getting outdoors, being active, using imagination, trying new experiences and enjoying the simple pleasures of summer.
Our welcoming and inclusive programme ensures every child feels valued, supported and encouraged to take part, leaving with new skills, greater confidence, new friendships and plenty of stories to share when school returns.
