Operations Manager
Charlie is a dedicated learning and development professional with a strong background in both sports and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Driven by a genuine passion for helping young people grow, Charlie combines practical experience with a commitment to creating inclusive, engaging environments where every child can thrive. With a sports foundation that brings energy, teamwork, and resilience to his practice, and extensive SEND experience that informs his thoughtful, adaptable approach, Charlie strives to ensure every child feels supported, understood, and encouraged. As a manager at Aktiva, Charlie plays a key role in shaping high‑quality provision across the organisation. During HAF programmes, you’ll see him visiting all sites—connecting with teams, supporting staff, and ensuring activities run smoothly. Known for his approachable style and enthusiasm for continual improvement, Charlie is always looking for new ways to enhance experiences for both children and colleagues.
What you'll need
Food & Drink A healthy lunch and snack are provided daily. Please don’t send food in—breakfast options will be available on site. We are a nut-free site, so no nut products, please. Ensure your child has breakfast before arrival and brings a named water bottle to refill throughout the day. What to Bring & Wear Children should wear comfortable clothing and trainers for active play. Bring a jumper or coat if the weather is cold or rainy. Drop-off & Pick-up Gates open at 9:00am. An Aktiva Camps team member will greet you at the main entrance to register your child. If arriving late or collecting early, call the site phone number displayed on the gate and we’ll assist you. Gates re-open at 1:00pm for prompt collection.
