⚽ Football Development Day AFC Sudbury | Ages 10–14 Take your game to the next level at our Football Development Day at AFC Sudbury, designed specifically for ambitious players aged 10–14 who are serious about improving. This focused, high-quality training day is perfect for young footballers who want to sharpen their technique, build confidence and develop a deeper understanding of the game in a professional and supportive environment. Players will work on: Position-specific technical development Ball mastery and decision-making under pressure Attacking and defending principles Structured small-sided and conditioned games to replicate real match scenarios Finishing drills and competitive challenges Our experienced coaches provide detailed coaching points, individual feedback and encouragement throughout the day — helping players grow both on and off the pitch. What to bring A named water bottle, plus extra drinks if needed (no fizzy or energy drinks — water refills available) A healthy packed lunch will be provided if you select that option at booking. What to wear Players must arrive dressed appropriately for outdoor football, including: Suitable training wear Clean football boots (moulded or blades only — no metal studs, trainers or astro shoes) Shin pads (strongly advised) Weather-appropriate items (sun hat and sun cream in hot weather, rain jacket if needed) If your child does not have football boots, please contact us with their shoe size and we will do our best to source a pair for the day.

We specialise in running weekly clubs and school holiday camps at local venues. Children are positively encouraged to learn and practice physical skills, grow in confidence, have fun being active and meet new children all in a safe and pressure free environment. Maxim is a family run business that has provided a large and exciting programme of sports and social activities for children in Sudbury and the surrounding areas for over ten years.
Important information
Please send Children with appropriate clothing & trainers/ boots for indoor Football , football kits and shin pads are optional. A packed lunch will be provided for your Child plus snacks for the morning. Children will also need to bring along a named water bottle plus extra drinks for the day, water will be available- no fizzy drinks or energy drinks please.

Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.There is always a long waiting list for funded places on these camps - if your Child can no longer attend please do let us know so no food is wasted and the. place can go to another Child
