What we'll do
At Manga Club, your child will embark on an exciting journey into the world of Japanese comic art and storytelling. Designed for children aged 6–13, the club offers a fun and engaging environment where they can develop both their artistic and creative writing skills. Whether your child is already a manga fan or new to the art form, they will have the chance to explore and express their creativity in a way that’s both educational and enjoyable. Throughout the program, your child will learn the basics of manga art, including its unique style, character design, and dynamic compositions. They'll discover how to create their own characters, understand manga proportions, and master the art of storytelling through visuals. With step-by-step guidance from experienced instructors, your child will gain the skills to bring their ideas to life on paper. In addition to learning the techniques behind manga drawing, children will explore the storytelling aspect of creating manga. They will develop plotlines, create characters with distinct personalities, and construct engaging narratives. Through writing exercises and drawing sessions, they’ll begin to craft their own short manga stories. This combination of art and writing will help children strengthen their creativity and problem-solving skills, as they learn how to build a story from start to finish. As they progress, children will dive deeper into manga drawing techniques, such as shading, inking, and adding dramatic effects, which are key components of manga art. With personalized feedback from their instructors, your child will refine their skills and gain confidence in their artistic abilities. They will have the opportunity to experiment with different styles and approaches, helping them find their unique artistic voice. In addition to individual projects, the club offers opportunities for children to collaborate with their peers. They can brainstorm ideas, share tips, and work together on group manga projects. This encourages teamwork and social interaction while allowing them to learn from each other in a creative environment. At the end of the program, your child will have the chance to showcase their work in a special event for parents and family members. This will be an exciting opportunity for your child to share their creations and celebrate the progress they’ve made. Whether your child is an experienced artist or a beginner, Manga Club offers a welcoming space for them to grow, learn, and have fun. We can’t wait for them to join us and begin their manga journey!
