Youth Bowling Sessions Half-Term HAF Session: We’re running a free half-term bowling session for HAF-eligible children aged 8–16. This event is free for HAF-eligible children aged 8–16 (In receipt of benefit related free school meals) - for further information please refer to the guidelines set out by Tameside MBC - https://www.tameside.gov.uk/earlyhelpoffer/parent-carer/haf Young people will enjoy a game of bowling in a safe, friendly environment, with pizza, chips, and juice included. Term-Time Youth Bowling – Just £2 During school term time, our Youth Bowling sessions run every Tuesday and are open to all young people aged 8–16. These relaxed sessions are suitable for beginners and experienced players alike, with staff on hand to support and encourage. I have worked for Active Tameside for nearly 20 years now and worked in various roles including bikeability instructor, sports coach, sports development officer and now Head of Active Education. I enjoy working closely with local primary schools providing high quality PE & School Sport and providing pathways for children to take part in sport. Hobbies include long distance running for East Cheshire Harriers and season ticket holder at Manchester United!

Hi! My name is Harvey, I am a lead sports coach for the holiday camps as well as a sports coach for Active Education. My role is to provide quality PE lessons in primary schools teaching various different sports at a high standard as well as providing a fun and engaging holiday camp for your child.

Hi everyone, My name is Mason and I am working as a PE and Sports Coach for Active Tameside. I have been delivering PE and extra curricular activities in Schools for 5 years and also delivering community outreach sessions as well as working on Holiday Clubs.
FAQ's
Bowling is based in Denton, at the Wellness centre. Please arrive 15 minutes before. Please ensure you wear suitable footwear. No Flip/flops or sandals can be worn whilst bowling, however bowling shoes are available upon request.
