Splash into Half Term Fun! Get ready for FREE Active Tameside Youth Community Event at Hyde Leisure Pool – it's time to Swim, Slide & Ride the Waves with your friends this half term! - Funded as part of the holiday HAF programme. - This event is free for HAF-eligible children aged 8–16 (In receipt of benefit related free school meals) - for further information please refer to the guidelines set out by Tameside MBC - https://www.tameside.gov.uk/earlyhelpoffer/parent-carer/haf Join us for an action-packed session of water slides, wave machines, and poolside fun. When: Wednesday 18th Feb @ 5:30-7:30pm Where: Hyde Leisure Pool Who: Ages 8–16 INCLUDES A FREE HOT MEAL! Limited spaces – book fast before it sells out! I enjoy working closely with local primary schools providing high quality PE & School Sport and providing pathways for children to take part in sport. Hobbies include long distance running for East Cheshire Harriers and season ticket holder at Manchester United!

Hello, my name is Isaac, and I am one of the PE and Sports Coaches working for Active Tameside. I've been delivering sports in schools for ten years. I have also managed football teams, from Under 6's to a military veterans football team with players aged between 28 and 72. I follow Oldham Athletic and the England national team. When I'm not working or watching football, I can be found unwinding at a fishing lake. It'll be great to meet you at our holiday camps!

What to Bring: Swimwear One-piece or two-piece swimsuits, swim trunks, or appropriate swim shorts. Rash vests or swim shirts allowed. Towel A large, absorbent towel for drying off after swimming. Goggles (optional) For comfort and fun underwater. Change of Clothes Dry clothes to wear after the session. Swim Cap (optional) Especially if preferred for hygiene or hair management. Plastic Bag For wet swimwear and towels. Water Bottle Stay hydrated (juice is provided, but always good to have water too). ? Important Info: Event Cost: £2 per child Age Range: 8–16 years only Supervision: Fully staffed by trained youth leaders and lifeguards Food Provided: Pizza, chips, and juice after the swim session Location: Hyde Leisure Pool Arrival Time: 5:15pm for time to get ready! Pick-Up Time: 7:30pm Booking Required: Yes – limited spaces available Notes for Parents/Guardians: Children must be able to swim independently in deep water to go on slides and waves. If your child has any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary needs, please inform organisers upon booking and at checking in. Please ensure your child is collected promptly at the end of the session.
