A summary
The No Limits Programme is a unique opportunity for young people aged 13–16 years to develop leadership skills, coaching knowledge and practical experience through a range of sports and activities. Designed for those who enjoy sport, working with others and building confidence, participants will learn what it takes to become a coach before gaining real experience supporting Active Sport holiday camps. Who Can Attend? Ages 13–16 years Eligible for Benefits-Related Free School Meals (FSM) or Universal FSM Warrington residents Day 1 – Introduction to Coaching & Leadership What makes a great coach? Communication and leadership skills Understanding different age groups Team-building activities Multi-sport coaching challenges Day 2 – Planning Activities & Sports Sessions How to plan fun and engaging activities Adapting games for different abilities Inclusion and supporting participants Behaviour management Creating and delivering mini multi-sport activities Day 3 – Holiday Camp Experience Join an Active Sport Multi-Sport Camp Support experienced coaches Help organise activities and games Learn how camps operate Assist younger children throughout the day Day 4 – Young Leader Placement Lead warm-ups and small activities Support sports stations and challenges Develop confidence leading groups Receive coaching feedback Reflect on skills developed throughout the programme Sports & Activities May Include Football Dodgeball Basketball Cricket Athletics Archery Team Challenges Leadership Games Problem Solving Activities What Participants Will Gain Leadership and communication skills Practical coaching experience Teamwork and confidence development Volunteering experience for CVs and applications Understanding of careers in sport and coaching No Limits Programme Certificate NO LIMITS Learn Skills. Fun, healthy and inclusive sports and physical activities for children (4-11-year-olds) across the UK and Ireland Whether at your primary school or through afterschool activities like sports camps, adventure camps, football camps, birthday parties, active clubs, holiday and half-term camps, we’ll make sure your child is having fun in a safe and encouraging environment. Our experienced coaches will help build your child’s confidence across any variety of sports activities that may pique his or her interest. This includes football, baseball, archery, basketball, rugby, tennis, rope swings, cricket, netball, rounders, outdoor or forest learning and inflatables – and much more!
