Are you looking for a fun way for girls 5-11 to get involved with football? Then look no further! Weetabix Wildcats is the place to be, everyone is super awesome; from the friends you’ll meet to the FA qualified coaches and volunteers who deliver the sessions. Term time only. So, what is Weetabix Wildcats? Well, it’s non-competitive football for girls who want to give it a go for the very first time or want to play with other girls their own age. Most importantly, Weetabix Wildcats is all about having loads of fun and meeting new amazing friends. Important note: If you are attending a Wildcats session then your information will be shared with The FA. Therefore, to ensure our sessions are accessible to everyone, we are excited to introduce a new sliding ticket system on all our Active Hastings sessions, so you can choose what you can afford to pay. Our free ticket option will work on a trust basis, and we hope people who can, will pay for the suggested or little helping hand ticket; leaving the free ticket option for people who need them. Active Hastings
Physical activity sessions for everyone!
Active Hastings is an externally funded partnership project between Hastings Borough Council and East Sussex County Council Public Health. We have been working in partnership since 2006 to give local residents easy, fun ways to get their everyday dose of physical activity. It only takes 150 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity each week for adults and 60 minutes every day for children to benefit your health, both mental and physical. You can even break it down into 10 minute slots! All of our team are experienced sports coaches, fitness instructors and play workers, who are passionate about working with people of all ages in Hastings and St Leonards. We run free or low cost sessions throughout the year, as well as holiday activities as part of the Holiday Activity and Food programme.

Play Sport UK is an exciting new company encouraging participation in sports for all, regardless of age or ability, through the provision of sporting facilities, accessible to everyone. There are thousands of sports facilities lying dormant for long periods of time in the UK. Sports halls, football pitches, netball courts, tennis courts, and much more that are owned by schools, are being under-utilised. Most are not used in the evenings, or at the weekends. Yet we often hear that there are not enough sports facilities available. Play Sport UK plan on changing this! With our facilities management programme, the facilities will become available to clubs and sports teams. And the schools will generate extra revenue!
