What we'll do
Our activities support children in building life skills, nurturing emotional well-being, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle that encourages positive choices. Each day features sports games, arts and crafts, themed events, and local outings, offering something for every child to discover. We provide a safe environment where every child is valued and can strengthen their self-confidence and ability to express themselves. Children also develop a deeper respect for others, a greater awareness of the world, and learn the importance of citizenship, understanding, and compassion.

About your mentor
Acronym Community Empowerment (ACE)
"In unity there is strength'
We work to support disadvantaged women, children, and young adults by delivering creative education and training programmes. Our activities promote social inclusion, bringing people together from diverse backgounds, cultures, talents, skills, and creativity and help them gain new skills and access to employment, education, and training to help them grow. This means believing in the power of unity between people and recognising that in unity there is strength and everyone has the skill to share and to contribute.
A summary
We start at 10.00 am and pick-up time is 2.30 pm, Monday - Friday (Unless otherwise advised). Entrance is at The- Forget-Me-Not-Building (The Belvedere Academy) The weekly menu is planned with the help of children's contributions and ideas. We value their opinions and encourage fussy eaters to try new tastes and textures. We provide hot meals, salads, fruits, and milk daily and adhere to School Food Standards for holiday recommendations. We request children bring their water bottles that can be refilled throughout the day, wear comfortable sports shoes, and clothes that they can get messy in.
