What we'll do
We will offer a fun filled programme of activities for children aged eight to sixteen that supports children with SEND. Activities will include woodwork, art and crafts making various Easter themed items like toys, cards and gifts. We will offer a photography session where children can learn to take a good photograph using lights and a backdrop and the opportunity to also make a frame to put a photograph in. We will offer a bicycle maintenance session where children will learn how to fix and maintain a bicycle. Children can bring their own bicycle in for repair on this session. We will also run fun cooking sessions from making our own lunch and snacks including healthy pitta pizzas to fruit crumble and Easter themed cookies to take home incorporating food hygiene and health & safety in all we do. We will also provide a variety of free play activities including basic hairdressing and beauty, football table, pool table, air hockey table, Connect 4, Scalextric, Lego and table tennis along with lots of board games, cards and dominoes. We will have lots of competitions and quizzes and team building games like tug of war and practical problem solving activities.
