What we'll do
To book, please email us at ROCCSL@r-i-t.org. Join us for a fun-filled and inclusive holiday programme tailored to children and young people with SEND. Each day is carefully planned with engaging, sensory-friendly, and structured activities designed to support a wide range of needs and abilities. All sessions are staffed by experienced support workers and take place in a supportive, safe environment. A quiet space is always available throughout the day for any child needing time to regulate, relax, or take a break. Activity Highlights Monday Funday: Start the week with games, puzzles, and toys in a relaxed onsite environment. Themed Days (e.g., Tiger Day, Wellbeing Wednesday): Explore creative themes through crafts, dressing up, and fun sensory activities. Outdoor Adventures: Enjoy trips to local parks, the beach (Joss Bay), and exciting destinations like Thorpe Park and Danson Park (supervised and structured). Creative and Sensory Play: Messy Play: Foam, slime, and sensory trays for fun exploration. Arts & Crafts: Hands-on projects to stimulate creativity. Water Play: Cool off with splashing fun—remember a towel! Cooking and Food Fun: Smoothie Making & Fruit Kebabs: Healthy snack sessions with fruit-based treats. Wild Cooking: Outdoor cooking experiences with safe equipment and support. Baking: Make and take home your own cookies! Animal and Physical Play: Mini Horse Visit: A chance to interact gently with friendly horses. Bouncy Castle Days: Active play in a secure and enjoyable setup. Entertainment and Relaxation: Cinema Day: Enjoy a sensory-friendly film session with snacks. Disco & ROCC Festival: Celebrate with music, dancing, and fun in a controlled environment.

About your mentor
ROCC
Providing respite of the highest quality
ROCC specialises in providing high-quality respite care to children and young people between the ages of 5 and 25 with moderate to complex special educational needs and disabilities. ROCC has a diverse staff base with a wealth of skills and professions, such as SEND school staff, trainee teachers, university students, trainee psychologists, physiotherapists, nurses, and many more. ROCC proudly provides fun and exciting activities both onsite and offsite during the school holidays, such as zoos, theme parks, messy play and much much more!
Our Booking Process
Before each young person attends ROCC, they will need to complete a registration form, and be visited by the ROCC team either at home or at school for an initial assessment. ROCC takes bookings differently to other HAF providers and we will need families to email us directly so we can enter you into our own booking process. Bookings are not confirmed until you get a further email from us offering you specific dates. Please feel free to contact us to find out more at ROCCSL@r-i-t.org
