A summary

Caldecotte Xperience has been awarded grant funding from Milton Keynes City Council to deliver sessions for the Holiday Activities and Food Programme, for children in receipt of benefit-related Free School Meals (FSM), during the Summer school holidays in 2026. We are looking forward to welcoming young people to our HAF programme at Caldecotte Xperience, where we provide a range of exciting outdoor activities. These include land-based, water-based and rope-based activities. Each session will include a cooking activity and the children will all have lunch. Sessions take place for a full day 09:00 - 17:00 An example of some of the activities participants will may take part in: Leap of faith Zorbing Caving Climbing Feature Wall Paddleboard Bushcraft Open Canoeing Abseiling We offer sessions with SEND support. These sessions are only for young people who are eligible for free school meals and can be found under another listing which allows us to better support your child with higher staffing numbers. ⚠️ Please cancel places if not able to attend. This enables another eligible child to take up the opportunity. ⚠️ Bookings that are not attended and for which we are not able to contact you, remaining bookings may be cancelled.

Useful information

The Caldecotte Xperience Adventure Activities Course, sailing courses and HAF programme are an amazing opportunity, for your children and young people to experience a whole range of outdoor adventurous activities. A minibus pick up and drop off may be available at the certain hubs with prior arrangements. Please contact the office. Sessions with SEND support Here you will find all the details for the week: Drop off between: 9:00 AM - 9:15 AM (we may struggle to take children dropped off after this time due to the nature of the activities and groups been out on the water) Location: The Caldecotte Xperience, George Amy Centre, Simpsons, Milton Keynes, MK6 3AG Lunch: Hot meal will be provided each day during the designated lunch period. Pick up Between: 4:45pm - 5:00 PM at George Amy Centre as above. There is a provisional programme for the week and activities may change due to weather conditions and staffing availability. Kit list and rules

✅What you need to bring: Waterproof jacket, a cap, an extra set of clothes, towel in case you get wet, shoes you can get wet or dirty, a long-sleeved top for caving or archery, trousers of tracksuit bottoms for caving that can get wet and dirty, suntan lotion, water bottle. ✅Behavioral contract Caldecotte Xperience implements a traffic light behaviour management system which can be seen below. Through the programme we expect good levels of behaviour and a respect for other participants and instructors. Participants may be asked to leave immediately if it is judged a Level 3 category has been reached. The guardian will then be contacted to pick up the participant. Communication with the participant’s guardian will be made if Level 1 & 2 behaviours continue. A plan of action will then be agreed between the Head of Centre and the participant’s guardian.
