A summary
✨ Who Is It For? Girls aged 7–10 years with an EHCP who want to try new things, make friends, and join a supportive, confidence‑building group. We are happy for you to come for 1 week to try, or for all 8 of your EHCP+ sessions. ✨ What Your Child Will Experience at Beanhill Brownies From the moment your child walks through the door, they’re welcomed with a big smile, a friendly buddy and a chance to join in straight away. ✨ Creative Adventures Instead of vague “arts and crafts,” your child might: -Paint kindness rocks using acrylic pens, adding glitter and positive messages -Build mini wildlife habitats using sticks, moss, stones, and small recycled trays These activities change each week so the girls leave with something they made themselves. ⚽ Active Fun Activities are playful, energetic and designed so everyone feels included: - Parachute popcorn, where they bounce soft balls in the air - Human board games, where the girls become the pieces and complete fun tasks as they move Each activity helps children build confidence and coordination without pressure. ✨ Real‑Life Brownie Skills Your child will also get to try safe, practical skills such as: - Learning to light a tealight safely using a spark stick (fully supervised) - Practising first aid basics, such as bandaging a friend’s “teddy injury” - How to Consider other peoples personal space These moments help children become more independent in a supported space. ✨ Friendship & Belonging Every session ends with a group circle where the girls: - Share something they enjoyed - Celebrate badges they’ve earned - Welcome new members This ensures every girl feels seen, valued and part of the group. Beanhill Brownies is a warm, structured, and supportive space where children grow — while having fun.

When you Arrive
You will be greeted by one of our Leadership team who go by Rainbow Owl (dark hair) and Snowy Owl (light hair). We would have received all the information you shared through booking with EEQU, and will be ready to welcome your child. We will buddy your daughter up with a friendly regular Brownie who will be their guide and companion during the session, ensuring they always have a friend and someone to help support them through the sessions. The Brownies love to be a dedicated buddy and welcome new people to the session. If your Daughter requires some settling in, we are happy for the parents to stay for a short while, or for the duration of the session, but find new starters settle better without an adult where they are able to engage with the other Brownies and leaders. Snowy Owl is very experienced with SEND and has previously worked in services with complex behaviours or high health needs and is always happy to stay close by, enabling your child to thrive within the session.
