Join us at Halesworth Library for a variety of FREE creative workshops throughout the summer holidays for 10-16 year olds! Workshops are 9:45am - 3:30pm and include a free lunch, drinks and snacks. We’re the independent charity that runs Suffolk’s library service. We nurture children’s literacy, support vulnerable people and promote wellbeing across Suffolk.
Uwu Studio
Pattern print and colour lover
Lily is an illustrator working from her studio in rural Suffolk, having graduated with a first class honours in illustration.Her practice spans the creative sector from working on a commission for Black History Month for the BBC to working in an East London studio. Lily has a real passion for colour and pattern her portfolio demonstrates a plethora of different subject matters, whilst staying true to her loves and passions in life. She works in a variety of media– predominantly digital art, markers and acrylic painting – and makes use of textured and layered techniques to create energetic, eyecatching creations.
Nat
Audio-visual Participatory artist
Nat is an audio-visual participatory artist working with creative technologies to construct interactive, sensory objects and spaces that invite curiosity and play. They believe play and co-creative spaces are incredibly important and that creative technologies are powerful tools for inquiry, learning and collaboration. They have facilitated spaces using creative technologies in playful ways with artists, students, families and early years across the East.
Carolyn Ash
Facilitating creating memories in mosaic
Mosaic artist & designer. Using mosaic as a medium, creating commission based artworks exploring the idea of making new memories in mixed media using broken china, jewellery, vitreous & ceramic tiles. Re-cycle and re-purpose encourager. Mosaic Workshop facilitator with a wealth of experience, encouraging creativity in a nurturing & unique manner, exploring a combination of mosaic magic & colour therapy.

Now a library and Information Advisor, I have previously worked with children for 30 + years. I have worked with all ages and more recently in the Health visiting service with babies and toddlers. I love to engage with children and believe that all work should be made fun.
