Stacey Rezvan
Writer, Game Designer, Educator
Hi there! I am a writer and a tutor who also loves video games. I have taught English around the world, including Poland, Romania and China. I love learning about other perspectives in life and enjoy helping people create stories that they're passionate about. I have taught English to adults and children abroad and in the UK for over seven years. My favourite video games include Horizon Zero Dawn, Tomb Raider, Civilization, Pokémon and Genshin Impact. I am surprisingly good at Mario Kart, too! The games I make all have in-depth stories about characters who need to make tough decisions in a complex world. I specialise in interaction fiction/visual novel games because I think they're a great way of telling a story. In my spare time I'll be performing on stage with spoken word and poetry or walking the dogs. My advice for any would be writer is to look after the spark that motivates you to write, and to keep on writing!

I work with young people and communities to share stories, explore identity and develop skills through theatre making. I enjoy working with texts and well as devising original work, and it's really important to me that anyone taking part is at the centre of the process. I’m fascinated by what motivates us as human beings, exploring the catalysts for action and change, and the stories that make us who we are. I run inclusive workshops and encourage laughter, teamwork and a positive shared experience. I now work as a freelance artist after having spent 8 brilliant years at the New Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich.

I also Lecture and support creative workshops with young people.
