Come and spend a day in my workshop, which is in one of the few remaining working mews in Brighton and Hove. You will learn the basic skills used in the Tiffany Copper Foiling technique. This involves cutting glass to size, foiling each piece of glass and then learning how to solder the pieces together. You will then use your new found skills to make a small mirror, stained glass panel or sun catcher for your window.
About your mentor
Emma Edelston
When your mentor provides a strapline it will go here
I have had a business making mirrors and working with glass since 1991. I was in St Ives for many years (very inspirational) and am now back in Hove, where I am originally from. Alongside my glass business I run one-to-one day courses from my workshop, for adults and young people. Often people underestimate their creative skills and this can be an obstacle to trying certain creative disciplines. The beauty of the Tiffany technique is that, under my tuition, you will easily make something beautiful that you will be proud of. So not only will you have learnt some physical skills, you will have created something to treasure.
