Pinch Pot Making Workshop
Mentored by Jenny Wightwick
For ages: 18+ years
There is a lot more to pinch pot making than meets the eye! During the workshop, you will create a wealth of ceramic forms that are refined and functional using pinching techniques. There will be plenty of time to explore and develop your own ideas. Coloured slips will be applied to your completed pots, adding surface decoration. The workshop will begin with a coffee and chat with Jenny. All techniques will be demonstrated, and you will be encouraged to experiment with your own ideas in a relaxed atmosphere, enjoying the views from Jenny's workshop in rural Sussex. Your work will be glazed and fired and be ready for you to collect around two weeks after the workshop. No experience necessary. Drinks and biscuits will be provided during the day, please bring your own packed lunch.
