What we'll do
Join 2012 GB Olympian, writer of Channel 4’s Skins and Animator, Peter Bakare for our fun, creative Nutri Troops Animation Art Camps! Come to all of them or just book on for one day! The camps include a delicious hot lunch from MK cookery school and snacks! The session has a Sen specialist teacher and is designed specifically for SEN students teaching them how to create animation and comic book design using Nutri Troops to inspire. As many SEN students are strong visual learners they can find art and craft activities including drawing really fun and motivating, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with Peter Bakare, 2012 GB Olympian and creator of Nutri Troops! All sessions will be run by DBS qualified instructors and will include mentor breakouts, healthy snacks and lunch. The aim is for individual, social & community development through shared identity, fellowship, fair play, respect & teamwork that improves mental and physical well being. There are vouchers to be won too! This session is funded as part of Milton Keynes City Council Holiday Activities and Food Programme to deliver sessions for school aged children in receipt of benefit-related Free School Meals (FSM), during the Winter school holidays in 2024.
