What we'll do
The first human-powered flight was only 120 years ago. Aeroplanes and other flying technology have come a long way since then. Understanding how objects move through the air is important for engineers. 10am to 12 noon –Air Vortex Cannons 12.30pm to 2.30pm – World Record Paper Aeroplane In the morning workshop, we will make air vortex cannons and launch cups to make them fly. In the afternoon, we will design the world record paper airplane and launch it to see how far it can go. You can book for the morning, afternoon, or both sessions.

Bloodhound Education Ltd
Inspiring a generation to study STEAM
Bloodhound Education is a charity which delivers hands-on science and engineering activities for schools, uniformed groups, after school and holiday clubs, and the local community. Our charity has 13-years experience delivering practical enrichment workshops engaging families of all ages including under-represented groups and those with complex health or special educational needs. Our workshops enrich the curriculum and make the link between classroom and careers using real engineering projects like Bloodhound Land Speed Record as an educational tool and to explore future sustainable engineering solutions and renewable technology.

Learning aims
Aim 1
Learn how objects move through the air.
Aim 2
